Sembawang Hot Spring Park - Singapore
Surprising as it may sound, there is an actual natural hot spring in Singapore! Located in Sembawang, this spring has regular visitors who come despite the heat in Singapore to soak their feet or make some onsen eggs to enjoy for breakfast. Do look out for the majestic banyan tree at the park when you are there.
If you would like to make some onsen eggs, don’t forget to bring along a heat proof container to collect the hot spring water to heat your eggs. It will take around 30-40 minutes for soft boiled eggs.
How to get to Sembawang Hot Spring Park
The entrance to the Sembawang Hot Spring is via a gate along Gambas Avenue. Do note that there is no carpark at the hot springs, so it’s best to take a bus there or park at the nearest carpark at 114 Yishun Ring Road and walk 450m (8 minutes by foot).
Opening hours:
7am to 7pm. The cascading foot bath pool is closed every Monday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm for maintenance and cleaning.
